Starfinder that was beyond repair

The following pics show the early Starfinder that I acquired which was, sadly, way beyond repair due to infestation by woodworm.

The interesting points are –

  • Goodmans Power Audiom drivers
  • Gold piping around front baffle
  • Early jack socket design (prior to the later plastic cup sockets and recesses.
  • Cross sections show how the main front baffle was routed into the side panels which is what gives it it’s strength and stability, and possibly its tone also.
  • Early serial number
