Many thanks to Stephen for permission to use his pictures of this Watkins Scout which has now made the long trip to Australia where it is currently owned by Pat –
The Scout is described in a 1960s Bell Musical Instruments catalogue as follows – ” 10″ specially made loudspeaker. 14 watt push-pull amplifying unit. Four inputs with tremolo on two. Two volume controls, two tone controls. Tremolo speed and depth controls. Footswitch on wander lead. Cut-away back with tall knobs for quick positive control. High grade transformer for low power loss to the dynamic loudspeaker. Finished black and white with gilt trim and speaker grill”.
